Terms and Conditions

1. Service Description

DivineMatch.Net provides matrimonial matching services. Admin fees are charged for profile verification and approval to ensure quality matches.

2. Payment Terms

Admin fees are non-refundable once profile verification is completed. Payments are processed securely through Razorpay (for Indian users) or Stripe (for international users), both being regulated and PCI DSS compliant payment processors.

3. Profile Approval

Profile approval is subject to verification of submitted documents and information. We reserve the right to reject profiles that do not meet our quality standards.

4. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Upload genuine photographs and documents
• Maintain respectful communication with other users

5. Dispute Resolution

For any complaints or disputes, contact us at support@divinematch.net. We will respond within 24 hours and resolve issues within 5-7 working days.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW (INCLUDING INDIAN, US, EU, AND INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS), DIVINEMATCH.NET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Match outcomes, relationship failures, emotional distress, or third-party conduct
• User interactions off-platform (including meetings, harassment, fraud, or crimes)
• Accuracy, authenticity, or completeness of user-provided data
• Indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive, exemplary, or special damages
• Service interruptions, data loss, cyberattacks, or system failures (except gross negligence or willful misconduct)
• Any damages arising from your violation of these Terms or applicable law
• Claims by third parties related to your content or conduct

LIABILITY CAP: Our total liability is limited to the **greater of**:

• The total fees you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, OR
• INR 10,000 / USD 120 (whichever is higher at current exchange rate).

EXCEPTIONS (NON-WAIVABLE): This cap does NOT apply to:

• Death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Violation of mandatory statutory rights (e.g., DPDP Act, GDPR, CCPA)

INTERMEDIARY SAFE HARBOR: DivineMatch.Net is an intermediary under:

• India: Section 79, IT Act, 2000
• EU: Article 14, e-Commerce Directive (2000/31/EC)
• US: Section 230, Communications Decency Act

We do not initiate, select, or modify user content. We are not liable for user actions unless we fail to act on specific, lawful takedown notices.

For international users: This agreement is governed by Indian law, but liability limitations comply with your local mandatory consumer protections.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Indian law and subject to the jurisdiction of Indian courts.
